Cochin New Testament
“Project Truth Ministries (PTM) is dedicated to researching and publishing Biblical and historical truths. The Hebrew New Testament manuscripts are recent discoveries and the PTM team is diligent to ensure that all findings are published for the benefit of the Body of Messiah.”
The Cambridge Cochin Hebrew New Testament MS Oo.1.32, Oo.1.16 were discovered in Cochin, India, in the Malabari Synagogue of the black Jews by Claudius Buchanan in 1730. The Cochin Hebrew New Testament manuscripts are believed to have been copied by Ezekiel Rabbi II in 1806 and are available at the Cambridge University Library. Approximately 40% of these manuscripts contain Mishnaic Hebrew with Aramaisms according to the tradition of the First Century. The Cochin Hebrew Revelation has been analyzed, researched, and translated, while the remaining Cochin Hebrew New Testament is still under grammatical and historical review.
